FBW is an established community located in Far North Dallas, Texas. Bound on the north by Arapaho Road, south by La Cosa Drive, east by Meadowcreek Drive and west by Nedra Way, all sixty-three homes were built in the late 1970’s by Browning Homes Inc.

FBW’s Crime Watch organization was formed in the spring of 2010 following an increase in criminal activity. The FBW Crime Watch organization was formed solely to deter crime - it is not a neighborhood association. Our homeowners play an active role in preventing crime by watching for changes, unusual activities, suspicious cars or visitors, and by knowing who belongs and who does not. All suspicious activities, persons or vehicles are immediately reported.

Additionally, our FBW "Volunteers in Patrol" (VIP) Team monitors the community regularly - patrolling FBW’s streets and alleys, communicating with homeowners and authorities as appropriate. FBW’s Crime Watch organization is an additional set of eyes to the Dallas Police Department - our very presence in the community is a deterrent, and reduces our exposure to crime.

There are thousands of neighborhood watch programs across the United States where citizens work together to make their homes and communities less inviting targets for crime. These programs are considered to be one of the most successful ways in which the members of the community successfully reduce residential crime.
